1. I just drank orange juice out of a wine glass.
2. I have hives all over my arms and my chest that keep growing and continue to freak out the people around me.
3. My mouth tastes like red licorice and I a little bit feel like I am going to vomit.
4. An other-wordly contraption is keeping my "Baby Buddha" figurine on my key chain because it keeps falling off, just one more sign of imbalance in my life.
5. I have a Seattle Pacific key chain and I am attending University of Washington next fall.
6. There is an order form for a 2009 Senior Class picture on my desk and I do not think I am going to order one. After all, it would be a picture of nearly 200 strangers.
7. On Saturday, my boyfriend of two months made lamb, chicken and tofu kabobs, couscous, tsatziki and hummus for 15 of my relatives at a beach house in Gearheart.
The point of this post is to give you a glimpse into my increasingly random life that I have a difficult time making sense of. Somedays I want to be a person who travels around the world, authors several books, speaks in front of large audiences and uses her influence to change lives. And then other times, like today, I just want to be a person who laughs a lot and enjoys time spent with people and savors a cup of tea in the morning and who can't wait to see the sunshine each morning. Life, where have you gone?

These are the kinds of moments that I just stop trying to make sense of things and simply assert that life is a mixed salad. I love it. Also, you might want to rethink the picture--how often do you get the chance to be photographed with 200 people you don't know? (Ha!)
Katelyn. First of all, I'm sorry we haven't talked at all while I've been gone-- but it's ok, because I know that when we finally are able to sit down with a cup of coffee and tell each other all thats been going on the past 6 months-- it will be brillant. :)
I agree, Steph. Because what has been going in my life is ALOT of things and I am positive you could say the same thing about your life. I can't wait to talk about South Africa with you. I leave June 25!
I can't wait for this brilliant thing that is going to happen.
